Volleyball: Santa Fe 2, Sacred Heart 0

SEDALIA -- The Santa Fe volleyball team turned up the offensive pressure during the rubber set Thursday to defeat a tough Sacred Heart squad in Sedalia, 25-23, 21-25, 25-15.

The Lady Chiefs were efficient on the attack during the final frame, with a .333 attack percentage. Senior Sadie Limback had 11 kills to go along with four digs, eight assists and four blocked shots.

Sophomore Josey Burton and freshman Carrigan Smith combined for 13 kills, with each dropping in a pair of aces on the Lady Gremlins (4-2). Sophomore Katarina Langan also had eight assists for Santa Fe.

The Lady Chiefs (6-1) begin I-70 Conference play Wednesday by hosting Lone Jack.
