Cattle Auction Report for 6/15/16
 
Receipts:  297    Two Weeks Ago:  248    Year Ago:  480

   No recent price comparison available as the last reported market was two weeks 
ago. Extreme heat and humidity hampered cattle movement throughout the area. Cows 
and bulls accounted for 37 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply 
consisted of 44 percent steers and 56 percent heifers; 60 percent of all the feeder 
cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 182.00-183.00; few 500-600 
lbs 175.50-178.00, fleshy 152.00-156.00; pkg 608 lbs 161.00, pkg 676 lbs calves 
135.00; pkg 830 lbs 135.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  500-600 lbs 159.50-170.00; 
few pkgs 695 lbs 145.50-146.00; pkg 770 lbs 135.00.  

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 168.00-169.00; pkg 503 lbs 
151.00, fleshy 500-600 lbs 130.50-136.50; few 600-700 lbs calves 125.50-128.00.  
Medium and Large 1-2  500-600 lbs 135.50; 600-700 lbs 135.00; 700-800 lbs
