Cattle Auction Report for 5/31/16
 
Receipts:  248    Week Ago:  460    Year Ago:  480

   Not enough feeder cattle on offer to test the market. Slaughter 
cows steady to 1.00 higher. Very light post-holiday run with a 
Feeder Special planned for next week. Supply light and demand 
moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 52 percent of the total 
offering. The feeder supply consisted of 53 percent steers and 
Holstein steers and 47 percent heifers; just 05 percent of all 
the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 208.00-209.00; 
400-500 lbs 180.00-181.00; pkg 579 lbs 165.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  
pkg 417 lbs 176.00; pkg thin 511 lbs 172.50.  

   Feeder Holstein Steers:  Large 3 pkg 294 lbs 119.00; pkg 
368 lbs 113.00.  

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 150.00-164.00.  
Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 472 lbs 141.00; 500-600 lbs 145.50-150.00;
pkg thin 605 lbs 145.50. Large 1-2  pkg 380 lbs 159.50; pkg 497 lbs 
150.50; pkg 555 lbs 140.00.
