Receipts: 426 Week Ago: 708 Year Ago: 500

Compared to last week, too few comparable sales for an accurate

market test. Undertone was mostly steady on steers; firm on heifers,

a few packages of 400-500 lb heifers sold 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand

moderate with a light supply. Near 38 percent steers, 20 percent bulls,

and 42 percent heifers with 27 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls

were 45 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows were steady.

450 lbs 194.00-196.00; 500-550 lbs 178.00-182.00; 650-700 lbs 156.00-

162.00; 700-750 lbs 144.00-150.00. Medium and Large 1-2 300-350 lbs
