Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/02/2016

   Not enough cattle on offer to test the market. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 
higher. Muddy conditions have hampered cattle movement in the area during a stretch 
of days that felt more like early April than early February. Supply light and 
demand moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 40 percent of the total offering. The 
feeder supply consisted of 55 percent steers and bulls and 45 percent heifers; 11 
percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
