Three rollover crashes occur Tuesday in Saline County

A red Ford pick-up truck rests on its side against some trees approximately one mile east of Marshall Junction along Interstate 70 after a rollover crash occurred shortly before noon Tuesday, Jan. 19. The vehicle appeared to have left the south side of the roadway from the eastbound lanes of the interstate where it rolled down a steep incline before coming to a rest. No report on this crash from the Missouri State Highway Patrol had been posted at the time of print. Two other rollover accidents occurred in Saline County Tuesday. At 4:33 p.m., a vehicle driven by Yanira Juarez, 40, of Sedalia, left the west side of the roadway, northbound on U.S. Highway 65 at 192nd Drive, and overturned. According to a MSHP report, Saline County EMS transported Juarez to Fitzgibbon Hospital with minor injuries. At approximately 7:30 p.m., a vehicle driven by Joyce Harris, 50, of Mephis, Tenn., traveling westbound on I-70 at mile marker 76.4 left the north side of the roadway and overturned. According to the MSHP report, Saline County EMS transported Harris to Fitzgibbon Hospital with moderate injuries. (Arron Hustead/Democrat-News)
