Cattle Auction Report for 11/24/15

   Not enough feeder cattle on offer to test the market. Slaughter cows steady to 
2.00 higher. Very light holiday week run with several strings of black hided cattle 
expected for next week’s Special Feeder Sale. Supply light and demand moderate. 
Cows and bulls accounted for 34 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply 
consisted of 76 percent steers and bulls and 24 percent heifers; 08 percent of all 
the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 415 lbs 232.00; 450-500 lbs 197.00-
212.00; 500-600 lbs 170.50-178.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 403 lbs 196.00; pkg 
873 lbs 150.50.  

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 465 lbs 184.00; pkg fleshy 577 lbs 
155.50; pkg 621 lbs 160.00; pkg 740 lbs 150.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 371 lbs 
182.50; pkg 434 lbs 170.50; pkg 518 lbs 160.00.
