Cattle Auction Report for 11/10/15

Receipts: 944 Week Ago: 384 Year Ago: 933

Compared to last weeks light run, feeder steers and heifers sold fully 10.00-
15.00 lower. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 lower. The sharply lower market was in no
case a reflection of the quality of cattle in town this week as several strings of
high end feeders were available. The cash cattle market continues to struggle to
find any kind of bottom side support after sharp losses again Tuesday at the CME.
Supply moderate heavy and demand moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 15 percent
of the total offering. The feeder supply consisted of 48 percent steers and bulls
and 52 percent heifers; 61 percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
