Cattle Auction Report for Nov. 2:

Receipts: 554 Week Ago: 780 Year Ago: 689

Compared to last week, there were too few feeders for a market

comparison, however a lower undertone was noted. Producers are

continuing to work their fields as we start November. Feeder Cattle

futures closed higher on Monday, where Live Cattle futures closed

uneven. Demand moderate, supply light. Feeder supplies consisted of

56 percent steers and bulls, 44 percent heifers, and 26 percent

feeders over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls 16 percent of the total offering.

Slaughter cows steady to weak.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 240.00-264.00; 400-

450 lbs 230.00-249.00; 500-600 lbs 208.00-220.00; 600-700 lbs 182.00-

202.00; pkg 903 lbs 172.00. Medium and Large 1-2 350-400 lbs 200.00-

225.00; 450-500 lbs 200.00-212.00; pkg 595 lbs 183.00. Medium and Large 2
