The suspect of an alleged abduction attempt was located and identified, Marshall Police Department officials said Thursday.

The incident allegedly occurred in the Marshall Walmart parking lot after a young woman finished shopping. According to a press release issued by MPD, officers arrived at the Saline County Sheriff's office Wednesday afternoon where the woman had gone after the incident.

The woman told officers she exited Walmart and went to her vehicle, where she opened the driver's side door to get in. A white male, wearing thick, square eye glasses, approached her and told her she looked pretty, according to the report. She thanked the man, who then asked her if she wanted to play a game.

She stated she told the man "no," telling him she had to get her son to the doctor. The man then grabbed her shirt, and she began to yell. The man released her shirt and went back to his vehicle, the report stated. The woman said she entered her vehicle and left.
