Wednesday, August 19, 2015

On June 30, Marshall's FFA officers traveled to Eldridge, for a float trip and leadership building activities. In attendance were Sydnee Mason, president; Kade Plattner, vice president; Dallas Coslet, secretary; John Harlin, treasurer; Taylor Petzoldt, reporter; Taylor Gotmer, sentinel; John Charlton, chaplin, and Tyler Driskell, historian; Randy Platter and Paige Brock, advisors.

After a first full day of rafting on the Niagnua River and partaking in a scavenger hunt that had the officers find a tipped canoe and jump of a ledge into water, they turned back to their cabins to begin team-building activities. This included exercises that allowed participants to share with other what they admired most and what they believed to be each other's best character traits.

They also discussed the many goals they wanted to accomplish for the upcoming year in FFA.
