   Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs steady to 5.00 lower; steers
over 600 lbs mostly 3.00 to 7.00 higher; heifers under 600 lbs 2.00 to 4.00
higher; heifers over 600 lbs firm to 4.00 higher with instances 10.00 to 14.00
higher.  Supply heavy with average feeder quality more attractive than last
week.  Demand good.  Cows and bulls were 13 percent of receipts.  In the feeder
supply, steers and bulls were 67 percent of the run; heifers 33 percent.  Near
58 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded steady to
1.00 lower.
