   Compared to last week, feeders had a higher undertone on a better test
than last week.  Supply moderate.  Demand good to very good.  Cows and bulls
were 15 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
57 percent of the run; heifers 43 percent.  Near 26 percent of feeders weighed
over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded firm to 4.00 higher.

   Feeder steers:  Medium and large 1  few 300-400 lbs 307.00-333.00; 400-
500 lbs 277.00-304.00; 500-600 lbs 256.00-285.00; 600-700 lbs 222.00-255.00;
700-750 lbs 219.50-221.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  345-400 lbs 285.00-307.00;
450-500 lbs 263.00-290.00; 500-550 lbs 264.50-266.00; 600-650 lbs 238.00-247.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 280.00-289.00; 400-500 lbs
265.00-282.00; 500-600 lbs 236.00-254.00; 600-650 lbs 217.00-224.00.  Medium and
Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 269.00-278.00; 400-500 lbs 250.00-278.00; 500-600 lbs
