Betty Ann Clements
Betty Ann Clements, 83, of Marshall, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with the Rev. Loy Hoskins and Mike Parris officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army. Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Orearville, she was the daughter of the late Ervine John Clements and Ellen Burnice Stivers Clements. She was a 1949 graduate of Marshall High School and attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall. She started her career as secretary to Coach Lyon at Indian Foothills Park. She worked for 43 years and retired from Wood & Huston Bank. She was a member of First Christian Church and also attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one stepsister, Roby Mae Campbell Clements of Lee's Summit; and two nephews, Kerry Clements of Louisville, Ky., and Kevin Clements of Northfield, Minn.; two nieces, Karen Hayob Ravenhill of Columbia and Kathy Hayob Hoke of Springfield and her longtime traveling companion, Gordon Buckner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ervine Junior Clements and Earl Ray Clements; and a stepsister, Novelene Campbell Hayob.
