Receipts:  500    Week Ago:  189    Year Ago:  280

   Compared to last week, while last week’s receipts were light there was a
higher undertone.  Supply light to moderate.  Demand good.  Cows and bulls were
12 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent
of the run; heifers 38 percent.  Near 29 percent of feeders weighed over
600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 4.00 to 8.00 higher.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  420-500 lbs 278.00-306.00; 500-600 lbs
242.50-265.00; 600-660 lbs lbs 226.50-239.00; 765-815 lbs 194.00-198.50.  Medium
and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 289.00-313.00; 430-445 lbs 268.00-274.00; 500-600 lbs
232.00-255.00; pkg 635 lbs 190.00; pkg 766 lbs 200.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 274.00-291.00; 400-500 lbs
