The students of Bueker Middle School put on a musical display of harmony Tuesday evening, Dec. 16, at the middle school's auditorium.

According to Kevin Lines, orchestra director, the concert included the band, choir and orchestra students with approximately 200 students performing at the event. Lines said they have been working on the material since early October. Performances were broken into ages and groups.

"The BMS singers group is literally 5-8. The special chorus is exclusively eighth grade ... we have (the) sixth-grade orchestra performing, seventh- and eighth-grade orchestra performing and they're a combined group of those two grades, and the seventh- and eighth-grade band is also combined with those two grade levels," Lines said.

The event featured both Christmas and non-Christmas music as it served as the musical performance for the semester.
