James Leroy Huff Sr., 75, of Marshall, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with the Rev. Vernon Maxted officiating.Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born July 26, 1939, in Nelson, he was the son of the late Clarence James Huff and Gertrude Mae Ford Huff. He married Earline Hursman, and they later divorced. On Jan. 22, 1977, he married Judy A. Pannell, who preceded him in death on June 10, 2011. He lived in Marshall most of his life where he worked for Marshall Laundry, Saline County Rest Home and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Marshall. He loved to play his guitar.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Berger and her husband, Randy, of Marshall; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Maxine Combs of Boonville, Donald Huff of Marshall, Charles Ray Huff of Higbee, Mary Ruth Riley of Springfield, Janice Arth and Joyce Sitzes, both of Marshall and Kathy Derboven of Moberly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, James L. "Jimmy" Huff Jr.; one daughter, Joyce Robison; and two brothers, William E. Huff and Bobby Joe Huff.
