   Compared to last week, steer calves under 600 lbs and heifer calves under
500 lbs sold 2.00 to 6.00 lower; heavier weights firm.  Supply moderate -
demand good.  Cows and bulls were 16 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls were 67 percent of the run; heifers 33 percent.  Near
39 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 1.00 to 2.00
lower.

   Feeder steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 317.00-325.00; 400-500 lbs
270.00-291.00; 500-600 lbs 252.00-280.00; 600-700 lbs 236.00-254.00; 700-
800 lbs 230.00-240.00; 810 lbs 232.50; load lot 862 lbs 225.35.  Medium and
Large 1-2  340-400 lbs 294.00-315.00; 400-500 lbs 265.00-272.00; 500-600 lbs
238.00-253.00; 600-700 lbs 238.00-247.00; 825 lbs 220.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 260.00-276.00; 400-500 lbs
252.00-280.00; 500-600 lbs 231.50-255.00; 645 lbs 229.00.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 268.00-276.00; 400-500 lbs 242.00-264.00; 500-600 lbs 234.00-244.00.
