MALTA BEND -- The Malta Bend volleyball team bade goodbye to its two seniors, Kayla Kiehl and Sabra Cronk, during the final home match of the season Thursday.

Kiehl had three kills during the Lady Tigers' 25-20, 27-25 loss to Otterville (4-6), which was also the team's Pink-Out game for breast cancer awareness. Freshman Lynzi Miller led the club in service points.

Malta Bend (6-10), which set a new program high for wins in a season, is the sixth seed in the Class 1, District 14 Tournament at Concordia. The Lady Tigers open Monday against No. 3 Wellington-Napoleon.
