Receipts:  522    Week Ago:  465    Year Ago:  394

   Compared to last week, steers steady; heifers under 600 lbs steady to
5.00 lower; heifers over 600 lbs 4.00 to 5.00 higher.  Supply was moderate.
Demand good.  Cows and bulls were 15 percent of receipts.  In the feeder
supply, steers and bulls were 63 percent of the run; heifers 37 percent.
Near 20 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded
mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher.

   Feeder steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 364 lbs 324.50; 400-500 lbs 277.00-
315.00; 500-600 lbs 253.00-296.00; 600-700 lbs 242.00-252.00; 740-800 lbs
236.00-244.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  345-380 lbs 285.00-317.00; 400-500 lbs
269.00-305.00, 500-600 lbs 246.00-267.00; 600-700 lbs 238.00-254.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  325-400 lbs 266.00-290.50; 400-500 lbs
