   Not enough feeder cattle on hand to test the market. Slaughter cows (compared 
to two weeks ago) steady to 2.00 higher. Receipts were curtailed after storms moved 
through the area, with many reports of 4-6 inches of rain overnight. Cows and bulls 
accounted for 40 percent of the total offering.  The feeder supply consisted of 60 
percent steers and bulls and 40 percent heifers; 40 percent of all the feeder 
cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 312.00-314.00; few pkgs 518 
lbs 275.00-277.00; pkg 692 lbs 230.00; pkg 747 lbs 223.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  
pkg 548 lbs 258.00; pkg 655 lbs 221.00.  

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 368 lbs 279.00; pkg 458 lbs 245.00; 
500-600 lbs 226.00-232.00; 600-700 lbs 208.00-211.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  
pkgs 718 lbs 200.00.  

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 554 lbs 241.00.

with baby to 175 lb calves 2000.00-2175.00 per pair.
