Pettis County teen arrested in Marshall

According to a press release from Marshall Police Department, Pettis County deputies were involved in a pursuit early this morning, which led them to Marshall at approximately 3:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22.

The suspect, who is an 18-year-old male from Sedalia, led Pettis County deputies down Vest Street west of Stedem Road. The suspect left the roadway and went approximately 1.5 miles through a corn field owned by Weber Seed, where the vehicle came to rest half in and half out of a creek. The suspect fled on foot and was later located at Walmart where he was taken into custody by Marshall Police Department.
