Truck catches fire off Lamb Trail

Marshall Fire Department was dispatched at 2:11 p.m. Thursday afternoon, June 19, to a passenger vehicle fire off Lamb Trail in Marshall.

According to the report, when firefighters arrived on the scene at 2:19 p.m., smoke and flames were showing from a 1995 Chevrolet 1500, owned by Tyler Girard, which was parked outside near a garage.

The department responded with one engine, one tanker and one chief's truck. The fire was extinguished and the last truck was back at the station at 2:36 p.m.

The total loss value was approximately $2,000 -- $1,500 for vehicle and $500 for contents, the report stated.
