   Compared to last week, feeder calves under 600 lbs sold 6.00 to 20.00
higher with the most increase on thin light calves; yearlings not well
tested but with a higher undertone.  Supply light mostly calves.  Demand
very good.  Cows and bulls were 13 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls were 55 percent of the run; heifers 45 percent.  Near
11 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter traded 1.00 to 2.00
higher.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 268.00-300.00; 400-500 lbs
243.50-266.00; 500-600 lbs 227.00-249.00; pkg 620 lbs 220.00; pkg 737 lbs
208.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  few 340-365 lbs 266.00-276.00, 310 lbs thin
301.00; 430-500 lbs 230.00-259.00; 500-600 lbs 221.00-232.00; few 615-630 lbs
