   Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold steady to 5.00 higher;
yearlings firm on a light test.  Supply light to moderate.  Demand good to
very good.  Cows and bulls were 19 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls were 67 percent of the run; heifers 33 percent.  Near
11 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded steady to
3.00 higher.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  350-400 lbs 250.00-274.00; 400-
500 lbs 229.00-260.00; 500-600 lbs 205.50-231.00; 600-650 lbs 198.00-205.00;
few 700-750 lbs 180.00-182.00; pkg 836 lbs 165.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  430-
500 lbs 221.00-231.00; 500-600 lbs 204.00-220.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  few 300-400 lbs 230.00-235.00; 400-
500 lbs 195.00-229.00; 500-550 lbs 194.00-204.00; few 600-655 lbs 174.00-185.00.
Medium and Large 1-2  330-400 lbs 221.00-232.00; 400-500 lbs 196.00-213.00; 500-
600 lbs 187.00-200.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 236.00-278.00; 400-500 lbs
210.00-238.00; 500-600 lbs 196.00-221.00; 600-625 lbs 185.00-193.00.
