   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher. 
Slaughter cows another 2.00 to 4.00 higher this week, even with an unusually 
large number of cows available.  The feeder supply consisted of mostly very 
small pkgs and singles with very few heavy weight cattle available.  Supply 
light and demand moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 40 percent of the total 
offering.  The feeder supply consisted of 64 percent steers and bulls and 36 
percent heifers; 22 percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
