   Compared to last week, steers sold near 4.00 to 11.00 higher; heifers
3.00 to 8.00 higher.  Supply moderate - mostly calves with several bull
calves.  Demand good to very good - best for thinner grass calves.  Cows
and bulls were 18 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and
bulls were 58 percent of the run; heifers 42 percent.  Near 24 percent of
feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower.

400 lbs 235.00-274.00; 400-500 lbs 221.00-258.00; 500-600 lbs 206.00-231.00;
