Monday, January 27, 2014

The winter educational series by the Santa Fe Agri-Leaders in Alma will continue through February. Meetings will be held in the ag classroom at Santa Fe High School in Alma at 7 p.m. -- with the exception of one meeting to be held at Concordia High School.

The next meeting will be held Monday, Feb. 3, with guest Stephanie Tyler, from FCS Financial, and the topic will be "Lending Advice You Can Use."

On Feb. 10, Joe Parcell, from UMC, will discuss the "2014 Market Outlook." This meeting will be held in the ag classroom at Concordia High School.

MFA Staff Veterinarian, Dr. Tony Martin, will speak on the topic of "Beef Vaccinations and Herd Health" on Feb. 17.

To close out the February meetings, Jared Singer and Annette Colvin will discuss "FSA Programs for 2014," on Feb. 24.

Meetings are subject to change due to weather conditions. If school is canceled or lets out early due to winter related issues, no meeting will be held that night.
