Global Ag Symposium set for Jan. 23

The Global Ag Symposium, hosted by Santa Fe Agri-leaders, will be held Jan. 23, at the Concordia Community Center, 802 South Gordon Street in Concordia. This all-day event is an educational initiative of the Santa Fe Agri-Leaders designed to bring cutting edge agronomic information to producers.

This year's keynote speaker will be Richard Fordyce, newly appointed director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Also on the agenda are John Kruse, principal with World Agriculture Economic and Environmental Services; Terry Vinduska, past chair of the U.S. Grains Council; Dan Kleinsorge, Missouri Farmers Care; Kent Shannon, University of Missouri Extension; Wayne Bailey, University of Missouri; and Greg Peterson, aka Machinery Pete.

Topics range from global economic outlook to managing agriculture pests. The Global Ag Symposium offers Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) credit.
