Charles Bernard Hopkins
Charles Bernard Hopkins, 74, of Marshall, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind. Born Dec. 31, 1938, in Miami, he was the son of the late Emery Hopkins and Ora Mae Barr Hopkins. He lived in Marshall most of his life, was a graduate of Marshall High School and retired as a truck driver for Hahn & Phillips Grease Company.
Survivors include three children, Ronnie Fann and Bruce Fann, both of Marshall and Lisa Hopkins of Prairie Village, Kan.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Hopkins of Boonville; and several nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Hopkins.
