John Dale Eitel, 19, of Marshall, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Sept. 4, 1994 in Marshall, he was the son of Debbie Logan Cornine and Roger Eitel, who both survive of Marshall. He attended Marshall High School, where he was a wrestler, and was employed as an auto body repairman at Randalls Auto Repair in Sedalia. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, was a member of the MMA, baseball catcher and former Boy Scout. He was an excellent drummer and loved playing the drums.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Logan Cornine and her husband, Kenny, of Marshall; his father, Roger Eitel of Marshall; one brother, Joseph Walker of Marshall; two sisters, Tiffany Allen and Emilee Hall, both of Marshall; maternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Logan of Marshall; as well as multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Reva Eitel.
