Scotty Mullins, 19, of Marshall, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in rural Saline County, as the result of an automobile accident.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Inurnment will be in Hazel Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Born Aug. 5, 1994, in Marshall, he was the son of Kerry Wayne Mullins and Sharon Kay Johnson Mullins, who survive of the home. He lived in Marshall his entire life and was a 2013 graduate of Marshall High School. He worked at Larry's Detail Service and Coreslab, and loved playing the guitar.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Shawn Combs of Kansas City; one sister, Sharae Kelley of Marshall; maternal grandfather, Darrell Johnson of Morrisville; paternal grandparents, Gene and Rose Alleen Mullins of Marshall; one nephew, Logan Combs ; three nieces, Kaylinn Combs, Meme Kelley and Shelby Wright; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karen Johnson.
