Karel Lea Reuck
Karel Lea Reuck, 74, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in Springfield.
Cremation. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Shadel's Colonial Chapel in Lebanon. A reception for family and friends following the memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. at the Family Crossing Bennett Room in Bennett Spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel's Colonial chapel. A memorial has been established to purchase park furniture in her memory to be on display at Bennett Spring, and can be left at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
Born April 25, 1939, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Earl Scotten and Josephine Louise Bohleken. On June 1, 1961, she married Aaron Michael "Mike" Reuck, who survives of the home. She was a teacher in Newburg, California, Excelsior Springs and Liberty.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tonya Lohman and her husband, Brian, of Cameron and Tracey Cross and her husband, Dan, of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Russ Scotten and his wife, Elaine, of Menlo Park, Calif.; one sister, Kay Steele and her husband, Barry, of Lake of the Ozarks; five grandchildren, Henry Lohman, Tucker Lohman, Ainsley Lohman, Nicholas Cross and Megan Cross; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Heidi Lohman.
