Marshall FFA members part of Riggins R-Co appreciation day
Twelve members of the Marshall FFA Trap Team attended the Riggins R-Co appreciation day Tuesday, Aug. 20, with Co-advisor Randy Plattner.
The members helped set up tables and chairs. The group was split into six pairs so each could manage a shooting station of clay pigeons. One person would pull the lever to release the clays after the shooter shouted "pull." The shooter then tries to shoot the clays.
There was a drawing for prizes and a meal provided for everyone who attended the event.
At the end of the day, the FFA members also took down the tables and chairs. When that was completed, the trap team was allowed to practice shooting at some of the various ranges set up for the Riggins customers.
The chapter wants to thank Riggins R-Co for allowing the Marshall FFA Trap Team to be a part of the appreciation day.
