Marshall Circle No. 535, Daughters of Isabella, met at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Knights of Columbus Hall.
Regent Anita Harris called the meeting to order. Pledge of Allegiance was given. Roll call of officers showed seven present, four excused and one absent.
Mary Ann Schuster, state treasurer, was present to audit the books.
There was no meeting held in June due to lack of quorum.
There were no minutes to read. Mildred Gilliam gave the treasurer's report.
The report of the scribe was given.
Table decorations were discussed.
Queen Isabellan needs to be chosen.
The rummage sale was successful. The Lighthouse Thrift Store will not pick up items from the rummage sale after this sale.
Cards were sent to the sick.
An audit meeting will be held in August, prior to the regular meeting. Gilliam offered to have the meeting at her home.
Message from state officer was not to worry too much about doing big things. Take care of each other.
