   Compared to last week’s thin test, feeder steers and heifers traded 2.00 to 
5.00 higher where comparisons could be made. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 
higher. Several nice sized strings of cattle gave buyers some numbers to work 
with this week. Slaughter cows accounted for 12 percent of the total offering. 
The feeder supply consisted of 61 percent steers and bulls and 39 percent 
heifers; 41 percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 477 lbs 184.00; 500-600 lbs 166.00-
169.75, thin 179.00-182.50; 600-700 lbs 158.00-160.25; 700-800 lbs 144.50-
149.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  few thin 300-400 lbs 205.00; 400-500 lbs 171.00-
175.00; 500-600 lbs 160.00-165.00; 600-700 lbs 158.10-165.00; pkg 702 lbs
