Receipts:  370    One Week Ago:  1318    Year Ago:  418

   Compared to last week, while not a complete comparison - feeders sold
mostly 2.00 to 6.00 higher.  Supply was light with numerous bull calves in
the run.  Demand good to very good.  Cows and bulls were 18 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 53 percent of the run;
heifers 47 percent.  Near 34 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
Slaughter cows traded firm to 1.00 higher.  **** There will not be a sale
August 12th - enjoy the MO State Fair****

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  pkg 485 lbs 162.00; pkg 543 lbs 157.00;
600-650 lbs 150.00-158.00; 700-750 lbs 143.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg
475 lbs 164.00; 500-600 lbs 153.00-163.00; 600-665 lbs 148.00-158.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  320-325 lbs 165.00; 425-500 lbs 150.00-
151.50; 500-600 lbs 141.00-149.00; 600-700 lbs 140.50-146.00.  Medium and
Large 1-2  380-400 lbs 149.00-154.00; 425-500 lbs 140.00-149.00; 500-600 lbs
138.00-147.00; 600-700 lbs 132.00-140.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 165.00-173.00; 425-500 lbs
