Marshall Lions Club held its weekly meeting at 12:05 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the Clubhouse in Marshall.
The meeting was called to order by Lion Nancy Harris. Lion David Diehm led the Pledge of Allegiance. Lion Maureen Banks gave the prayer and opened the meeting.
There were 14 members present for the meeting.
A motion was made by Lion Leslie Sturhahn and seconded by Lion Jene Crook to approve the minutes of the May 13 meeting.
In old business, Crook reported that the club's Mint Day netted around $800. She also stated she would check to see if incoming First District Vice President Gary Curtis could do the club's installation of officers.
A motion was made and seconded to fine Lion Tail Twister Pete Hollabaugh an addition $1 with total fines equal to $2 now due.
In new business, a motion was made by Lion Mike Davis and seconded by Diehm to provide the member's meal free and charge each guest $12.50 at the installation picnic.
Charlie Eidson gave the program, "Highway Improvements and Trucking Accidents."
The meeting adjourned with Diehm winning the kitty and leading the closing song.
