Emergency crews respond to traffic accident on South U.S. 65

Saline County Ambulance and Missouri Highway Patrol crews were dispatched to a report of a traffic accident at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, on South U.S. Highway 65 near 145th Road in Saline County. The accident involved a pickup truck hauling a grain cart and a Chevy Blazer.

Ambulance crews were called off shortly after the initial dispatch as no injuries were reported.

The southbound roadway was partially blocked and cattle feed from the grain cart spread over a portion of the road. Traffic was moving slowly shortly before 4:30 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were on scene investigating the accident.
