Soils and Crops conference on Feb. 6 in Richmond
The Annual Soils and Crops Conference is an event that gives producers the opportunity to hear the latest information and ideas from University of Missouri specialists; allowing them to make pivotal management decisions from research-based data.
During the seminar, state MU Extension specialists will make presentations and answer questions on the following topics: Missouri Drought, Management Techniques to Increase Yield Stability, Cover Crops, and a Crop Pest Update.
Continuing education units (CEUs) for Certified Crop Advisors is pending.
The Annual Soils and Crops Conference is open to the public and will be held on Feb.. 6, 2013 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Ray County Veterans Memorial Community Building (312 Clark St., Richmond, MO).
Lunch will be provided.

The cost to attend the seminar is $10 per person, and registration must be received by Feb. 1st to assure adequate food. All fees collected will be used to offset the costs of the conference.
