Marshall mayor proclaims February as Career and Technical Education Month

The theme this year for CTE Month is "Career and Technical Educaiton Works."

The proclamation states, in part, that CTE "provides students with the ability to connect the core academic and technical skills they learn in school to career paths in which they can build successful lives" and "stimulates the growth and vitality of Missouri's business and industries and those of the entire nation by preparing world class workers for the occupations forecast to experience the largest and fastest growth in the next century."
