Workshop to focus on pasture renovation
The summer of 2012 brought one of the worst droughts Missouri has had since the 1980's and pastures suffered immensely.
Dr. Rob Kallenbach, Professor and State Forage Specialist at the University of Missouri, will give suggestions on making pastures more productive or doing a total pasture renovation.
Two sites are designated for the program, New Franklin High School and the basement at the Carrollton Public Library.
Dr. Kallenbach, will be streaming in via interactive TV (I-TV) to both sites at 7 p.m. on February 7th. Cost is $10 per person and interested parties can register at the MU Extension Office in either Carroll County (660) 542-1792 or Howard County at (660) 248-2272 by February 4th.
Anyone owning pasture ground will want to attend this meeting! If you would like an informational flyer about the workshop can find it at: http://extension.missouri.edu/howard/ag.aspx
