Sedalia-Central Missouri Sales Company: Cattle Auction Report for 01/28/2013

   Compared to last week, feeders sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher.  Supply was
moderate with a high quality test of calves and few yearlings.  Demand
good to very good.  Cows and bulls were 11 percent of receipts.  In the
feeder supply, steers and bulls were 60 percent of the run; heifers
40 percent.  Near 48 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter
cows traded firm.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  few 325 lbs 206.00-216.00, 375-
400 lbs 186.00-196.00; 400-500 lbs 176.00-192.00; 500-600 lbs 161.00-

   Cow and Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg short solid, 1150-1250 lbs,
with 285-325 lb calves, 1425.00 per pair.
