Monday Club met Monday, Jan. 14, at First United Methodist Church.
The meeting was called to order by First Vice President Ann Wilson, in absence of President Ann Fenner. Opening music was played by Jane Weber.
The minutes of the Dec. 10, meeting were read by club member Dianne Hackler in the absence of Secretary Sharon Hall.
Treasurer Georgann DeMoss gave the treasurer's report.
Program Chair Leslie Huston discussed the details of the upcoming February and March programs, as well as the change in the date's scheduled program.
Membership Committee Chair Becky Bruchalski announced that there were 37 members present.
Huston introduced Bill Westbrook who presented a well-researched program regarding the events surrounding the civil war Battle of Marshall, including a history of photography during that period; social, economic and political issues; and a re-creation of the battle drawn by Westbrook.
Wilson expressed the club's appreciation for the program and to co-hostesses Brenda Randolph and Darla Vallancourt, and their committee.
