Eloise L. Baker, 89, of Marshall, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.

Visitation will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. Born Dec. 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Hazel A. and Lloyd H. Boyce of Carleton, Neb. She graduated from Hebron High School in 1941. She served as a deputy clerk of the District Court of Thayer County, Neb. She moved to Long Beach, Calif., and worked in the war effort as a Rosie the Riveter for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. At the end of World War II, she moved to Kansas City and worked at the War Assets Administration. In 1948, she married Lloyd E. Baker, who preceded her in death. She became a homemaker. She attended Unity Village Chapel. She moved from Kansas City to Marshall and resided there until her death.

Survivors include her children, Mary Beth Mauger and her husband, David, William L. Baker and his wife, Cheri, Nancy L. Heidrich and her husband, Gary; a sister, I. Beth Shipley; and grandchildren, Jessica M. Baker, Kristin B. Caron and Lauren A. Slayman.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Twila Mae Boyce Craig; and a brother, Donald J. Boyce.
