Jeanette Moore Norris , 91, of Marshall, formerly of Gilliam and Slater, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church near Saline City with Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar officating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery or charity of the donors' choice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born Feb. 5, 1921, in Flint, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Passage Arnold. On April 5, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., she married Clyde Gerald Moore, who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2003. She later married Lewis Norris, who survives of Marshall. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church near Saline City. She and her husband owned and operated Moores Drive Inn in Slater for many years until their retirement.
Also surviving is a daughter, Susan LeNoir of rural Gilliam; two grandchildren, Leigh LeNoir and his wife, Gina, and Lori Peel and her husband, Jim Ed; three great-grandchildren, Chris Head and his wife, Tracy, Spencer Peel and Jen Peel; and two great-great grandchildren, Abby Head and Andy Head.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Johnson; two brothers; and a sister.
