Mary Ruth Hanna, 98, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with visitation one hour prior to the service and burial in Ridge Park Cemetery. William W. Born July 28, 1914, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late George A. Parks and Lena Veatch Parks. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and attended Missouri Valley College. On April 14, 1934, she married Audsley M. Hanna, who preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1972. She was active in the Marshall community where she served on the Georgia Brown Blosser Home board, member of Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary, Marshall Chapter D.A.R., Chapter GM of P.E.O., Monday Club and First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one nephew, George Brown and his wife, Nancy, of rural Marshall; one niece, Ann Brown McCorkle and her husband, David, of Holts Summit; along with great-nieces; great-nephews; and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Parks Brown.
