Kingsville Livestock Auction: Cattle Auction Report for 12/18/2012

   Compared to last week, feeders sold unevenly steady.  Supply was
moderate to heavy with two load lots of 835 to 924 lb steers selling.
Demand good to very good.  Cows and bulls were 24 percent of receipts.
In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 65 percent of the run; heifers
35 percent.  Near 38 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter
cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher.  No sales the next two Tuesdays.  There will
be special cow sales the next two Saturdays.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 179.00-195.00; 500-
600 lbs 154.50-175.00; 600-700 lbs 144.00-162.75; 700-800 lbs 138.25-
151.00; load lot 835 lbs 146.10; load lot 924 lbs 145.10.  Medium and
