Sue Walser, 85, of Waverly, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Waverly Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Waverly City Cemetery. Born July 6, 1927, in Roanoke, she was the daughter of the late William Hubbard and Stella Grimsley Hubbard. On Aug. 23, 1947, she married James H. Walser, who survives of the home. Sue was a graduate of Glasgow High School in Glasgow and spent most of her adult life in the Waverly area where she was a homemaker. She was a long time member of Waverly Baptist Church where she was a member of 3 B's Sunday School Class, W.M.U. and had taught Sunday School for many years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, David Walser of St. Louis; one brother, Edwin Hubbard of Macon; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Ann Walser; and nine siblings.
