Carolyn S. Eales, 61, of Marshall, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Marshall, with Dr. Mike Parris officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born Aug. 18, 1951, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Everett Ford and Dorothia Richards Ford Bucksath who survives of Marshall. She was a 1969 graduate of Slater High School and attended Missouri Valley College. On Oct. 18, 1980, she married Kenneth D. Eales, who preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1997. She had lived in Marshall since 1980 and retired in July of 2012 from Marshall Habilitation Center after 38 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, its Berea Sunday school class, the church choir and taught Sunday school. She was a member of Marshall Community Choir.
Additional survivors include one brother, John D. Bucksath and his wife, Melissa, of Columbia; one sister, Nancy Bechtold and her husband, Roy, of Rocheport; stepfather, John F. Bucksath of Slater; two nieces, Emily and Ashley Bucksath; one nephew, Derrick Bechtold; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
